Employee Management
The employee management module allows you to maintain records of all employees who use the system. Each employee has a unique PIN code for POS (Cash Register) login and personal data required for fiscalization and reporting.
Access to employee management is available only to users with an administrator role.
Adding a New Employee
To add a new employee:
- 1. Open Options > Company > Employees and click New Employee
- 2. Enter the employee's First Name (required)
- 3. Enter the employee's Last Name (required)
- 4. Enter a unique PIN code (required) - used for Cash Register login
- 5. Enter the employee's OIB (11 digits) - required for fiscalization
- 6. Click Save
PIN Code for POS Login
The PIN code is a numeric code used for quick employee identification at the Cash Register:
- Each employee has a unique PIN
- The PIN is used for logging into the POS screen and issuing invoices
- All invoices issued by the employee are recorded under their name
- The PIN can be changed at any time by editing the employee
OIB - Personal Identification Number
OIB is a required field for invoice fiscalization:
- Must contain exactly 11 digits
- The system performs check digit validation according to the official formula
- OIB cannot be changed if the employee has already issued any document (invoice)
- OIB is listed on fiscalized invoices as the operator identifier
Employee Status
Each employee can have one of two statuses:
- Active (1) - the employee can log into the POS and issue invoices
- Inactive (0) - the employee is deactivated and does not appear in selection lists
Deactivating an employee does not delete their data or historical records. All previously issued invoices remain linked to that employee.
Employees in Reports
Employee data is used in multiple financial reports:
- Revenue by Staff - detailed sales overview by each employee
- Cash Register Report - ability to filter daily revenue by employee
- Commission - commission calculation based on achieved sales
- Tips by Staff - overview of tips distributed by employees
Searching Employees
The employee list can be searched by:
- First and last name
- PIN code
- OIB
- Status (active/inactive)
The list is sorted by status (active first) and then alphabetically by name.
